Our Story
At Law by Vikasit Vidya, our journey began not as teachers, but as law students sitting in the same classrooms, facing the same struggles that thousands of students continue to face today.
The Beginning
At Law by Vikasit Vidya, our journey began not as teachers, but as law students sitting in the same classrooms, facing the same struggles that thousands of students continue to face today. Even while studying at some of India’s top law schools, we often found ourselves passionate to learn, eager to understand, and determined to excel, yet constantly held back by one thing: the lack of the right academic guidance when most needed.
The Struggles
Classes moved fast, and certain concepts never fully made sense. Study materials-both online and offline-were scattered, random, incomplete, and often overwhelming. Case laws felt endless, textbooks intimidating, and preparation became more about surviving information overload than actually understanding the law.
We remember spending hours and hours, exhausted, trying to simplify topics on our own-searching across notes, lectures, PDFs, commentaries, and judgments-only to realize that what students truly needed was not more information, but a comprehensive platform that provided better and in-depth learning.
The Idea
We wished there was one place that made law simple, structured, and truly understandable. That idea became Law by Vikasit Vidya.

Law school is overwhelming. We’ve all experienced those nights before an exam when the pressure builds, the syllabus feels endless, and nothing seems to make sense. You search for notes, guidance, or someone who can simply explain the concept in a way that finally clicks, but the right help is hard to find.
At the same time, law students are constantly balancing moots, ADR competitions, seminars, internships, and countless commitments throughout the semester. Academics often become something we revisit only during exam season. I believe learning law should not feel rushed, inaccessible, or restricted. Legal education should also be available when you genuinely need it, want to understand, explore, and engage with it because sometimes, all a student really needs is someone who can explain the law in a way that finally makes sense.
